Hybrid Applications - Byclosure
The exponential adoption of mobile applications has led to an expansion of the mobile devices and platforms ecosystem. Such fact led to an increase in complexity on the development of native applications that span the multiple platforms of this emerging market.
Technologies like HTML5 and enablers like PhoneGap introduced a new approach to the development of mobile applications: hybrid applications that allow the development of native applications highly portable.
Promoted by Byclosure, this workshop aims to introduce the basic concepts of this paradigm of applications to it's participants, addressing the following topics:
- Explore the mobile applications panorama
- Your first mobile application
- Configure a development environment for android
- Build an application from scratch
Should have a computer, with the following software installed:
- Chrome Browser
- Git (nice to have)
- Eclipse (recommended classic 4.2.1) with Android SDK and simulator
- Should have an Android phone version 2.3+ (nice to have)
Desired level of knowledge of participants:
- HTML (basic knowledge)
- CSS (basic knowledge)
- Others: Good mood (mandatory)
Senior Software Developer from Byclosure with over 10 years of professional and academic experience of developing complex web and mobile applications. On it's route at Byclosure, he participated in several development projects for clients on the Publishing and Telecommunications areas, based on technologies like HTML5, GWT and PhoneGap.
